Choosing Your Posts:
  • 3" x 2" -Pine. Ideal if you want to bolt these into a wall/pillar as they match the gate beautifully. If you select a wax treatment the posts will be waxed to match.
  • 3"x 3" and 4" x 4" 8ft green softwood tanalised posts are designed to be concreted into the ground. The tanalised treatment ensures a 10 year ground contact protection. Good solid posts which can be painted.
  • 70mm x 70mm black metal posts are finished in black.
Our Hinges:

The tee hinges we offer are heavy duty hinges. Chosen as they hold our gates perfectly and with ease unlike cheaper versions which will require replacing alot sooner. Each tee hinge kit comes with the following
  • 2 x 18" Tee Hinges
  • 1 x Brenton Bolt
  • 1 x Ring latch and keep
  • Screws and fixings

Very happy.

Needed a 787mm side gate which I could not find anywhere else.

Was kept well informed throughout production and delivery.

Being a carpenter/joiner I am quite fussy but I am very happy with quality for price.

Will be ordering my driveway Gates

Had a brentwood side gate made in a custom size. The gate is to the millimeter. Thicker than expected and a lot heavier. Really pleasing to see craftsmanship is still a thing in the UK. Very pleased with our gate. Thank you.

Quality promised and delivered

First time I had used these guys and I bought a Brentwood Side Gate in one of their sales. I was slightly concerned this would affect the quality. But took the chance anyway. Turns out the gate is very good, maybe even excellent. I am really very impressed. Even by the quality of the packing for transport. As someone who would typically nip down to the local diy warehouse for this kind of thing you don't realise how basic even some of their "quality" stuff can be. Everything worked out just a promised. Phoned before I ordered and got an estimated delivery date. Phoned again the week before and got that rough date confirmed. Got an email checking I was OK with delivery times etc 2 or 3 days before delivery. Delivery arrived exactly as promised. I'd use these guys again without a second thought.

Very good product.

I was extremely expressed with the build quality and finish of the Brentwood side gate I ordered. The dimensions were precisely what I had ordered and overall I was very impressed with the final result. The gate was well packaged when delivered and perhaps the only disappointment was that it took several weeks for the gate to arrive. All in all good value for money and you can tell how satisfied I have been because I have since ordered a second gate for my house.

The gate was off good quality manufacturer and finish. However as with other reviews the issue was with the extended delivery time, well beyond the original quotation and required chase up emails to prevent further delay.
